The cabinet meeting of the Punjab government was called on Monday. After the results of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal has called all the MLAs of Punjab for a meeting in Delhi on Tuesday. In such a situation, now the cabinet meeting will be held on February 13.
After the crushing defeat in the Delhi elections, there has been a stir in the Punjab Aam Aadmi Party. The national convener of the party has called all the MLAs of the state for a meeting in Delhi on Tuesday. Due to this, the cabinet meeting of the Punjab government to be held today has been postponed. Now this meeting will be held on February 13 at 12 noon in Chandigarh.
Government left only in Punjab
Actually, after the Delhi elections, the Aam Aadmi Party government is now left only in Punjab. Senior Congress leader and Leader of Opposition Pratap Singh Bajwa had claimed that after losing the Delhi Assembly elections, AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal can now turn to Punjab. Bajwa had said that many AAP MLAs are ready to leave the party. In such a situation, a big reshuffle can be seen in AAP in the coming days. AAP can even prepare a strategy to conduct mid-term elections in the state.
Kejriwal can contest by-election from Ludhiana
There is a buzz in political circles that Kejriwal can contest by-election from Ludhiana. This seat is vacant due to the death of an AAP MLA. Leader of Opposition Bajwa said that Congress will go among the people of the state as a strong opposition and work to gather public support. He said that today the state needs a sustainable and good government, which can strongly raise the issues of the state before the Center. Bajwa even said that due to bad relations between the Center and the Mann government, the state is being deprived of its rights.
Amidst all this political development, Bhagwant Mann reached a resort in Hoshiarpur on Sunday with Binu Dhillon and some of his friends. After staying for a night, Mann left for Chandigarh on Monday afternoon.
MP Kang called the meeting a normal thing
MP Malvinder Singh Kang said that we accept the mandate of Delhi. We have tried our best to improve Delhi and give a good government in the last 10 years and this fight will continue… As far as meetings are concerned, the party is a continuous process. Feedback is being taken from all units of the party to formulate future strategy… Tomorrow, Punjab MLAs will meet with Arvind Kejriwal under the leadership of Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann… This is an organizational meeting to formulate the next strategy.
Manjinder Sirsa’s big allegation
At the same time, BJP MLA Manjinder Singh Sirsa tweeted on X that Arvind Kejriwal has called a meeting of Punjab MLAs after losing the Delhi elections. According to reports, Kejriwal is trying to remove Bhagwant Mann from the post of CM by calling him incompetent. He failed to fulfill the promise of giving ₹ 1000 to women, failed to stop drug abuse and worsened the situation in Punjab. Now he wants to put all the failure on Bhagwant Mann. He is getting AAP Punjab MLAs to say that Kejriwal is a ‘good man’ and he should be made the Chief Minister!
