Anil Vij, the number two power and transport minister after CM Naib Saini in the BJP government of Haryana, has sent an 8-page reply to the show cause notice sent to the party. According to top sources related to Vij, he has made 8 important revelations in it. Vij has also told the high command about spreading rumors of tickets and the conspiracy to defeat and kill him.
Vij also told that despite being a cabinet minister, the officers are not implementing his orders in his home area. He also complained to CM Naib Saini and state president Mohanlal Baroli regarding this entire matter. Despite this, nothing was done even after 100 days.
Vij’s reply is also said to mention the cabinet meeting in which he had an argument with an officer. However, the CM took the side of the officer instead of Vij.
However, Anil Vij refused to say anything about the reply. On Wednesday (February 12), when journalists asked him in Ambala what his answer was, Anil Vij said-
1. Spread confusion, I will not get ticket
According to top sources, Vij told the high command that before the 2024 assembly elections, many people spread confusion that Vij will not get a ticket. Even if he gets the ticket, he will not win. Even if he wins, the government will not come. After this, some people from the party itself met my opponents. All this was done as part of a conspiracy to influence my election.
2. Conspiracy to kill me, reduced my security
I got the ticket. Then a conspiracy was hatched to kill me in the election. Some people from the party itself along with some officials associated with the administration were also involved in this. Despite having inputs of danger to me, my security was reduced.
I took permission from the Election Commission every time during the campaign. Despite being in their knowledge, farmers and villagers surrounded me during the campaign. Anything could have happened there. The police proved to be a complete failure in this.
3. Development work was deliberately stopped in my constituency
The administration conspired to defeat me in the election. During the election, development work was deliberately stopped in my constituency. The municipality did not even build the approved roads to anger the people against me. An attempt was made to influence my election due to development work. Due to this, I also had to face opposition from the people during the campaign. Their attempt was to make me lose the election.
4. CM-Party President was informed
I informed Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini and State President Mohan Lal Baroli about this entire incident. I was assured that this matter will be investigated and action will be taken as soon as the government completes 100 days. However, even after 100 days, neither the government took any action on my complaint nor any action was taken at the organization level.
5. SHO was not suspended even on my request, I faced political embarrassment
During Janta Darbar, I had given orders to suspend SHO of Ambala Cantt Sadar police station. I also called DGP Shatrujeet Kapoor and said that I want suspension order. Despite this, he was not suspended. This file was rejected by the Home Ministry. Home Ministry is under CM Naib Saini. Due to non-implementation of my orders in his home district, he faced a lot of political embarrassment.
6. Gave evidence against treasurer, no action was taken
I had given evidence to the party and the government about Ambala district treasurer Ashish Tayal. In which he was helping the opposition independent candidate Chitra Sarwara. I also gave the video of the BJP leader with Chitra Sarwara, in which he is standing with the opposition leaders and campaigning against me. Despite this, no action was taken against him.
7. They were bringing the independent candidate who fought against me into the party
After winning the election, my opponents in the party had hatched another conspiracy. They had tried to get an opposition woman candidate who fought against them to join the BJP. However, they could not succeed in this. If the central leadership wants, it can also get this matter investigated from the ground level.
8. The notice was leaked intentionally
Anil Vij has also raised questions about how the copy of the notice reached the media? He wrote in his reply – This is also a matter of investigation, it was a secret communication between 2 people, who is leaking it? If the party wants, it can get it investigated as well. If it does not want, it is the party’s wish. Vij said that I came to know about it from the media and I read the notice in the media itself.
Vij had also protested in the cabinet meeting
The government led by CM Naib Saini completed 100 days on January 25. A cabinet meeting was held a day before this on January 24. According to sources, Vij had an argument with a senior officer here. After which Vij raised the issue of bureaucracy going out of control in the state. However, the CM asked the officer to sit in the meeting itself.
After this, when the CM was holding a press conference on the achievements of Nayab Saini in 100 days on February 27, Anil Vij also suddenly reached there. However, he did not talk to the media.
Chitra Sarwara gave tough competition in the assembly elections
Anil Vij contested the election from Ambala Cantt on a BJP ticket. For the first time here, Vij was caught in a tough contest. He was pitted against Chitra Sarwara, the independent candidate daughter of former Congress minister Nirmal Singh. Vij had defeated Chitra by 20,165 votes in the 2019 elections, but this time the margin was reduced to just 7,277. In such a situation, Vij had expressed suspicion that people from his own party supported Chitra Sarwara to defeat him.
After the victory, questions were raised on party leaders
Anil Vij also became a minister after winning the election. After this, during the thanksgiving tour of Ambala Cantt, Anil Vij raised questions on officials as well as leaders of his party. Vij said that the officials did not make arrangements for his security.
A conspiracy was hatched to kill him. People were made to join Chitra Sarwara’s camp to defeat him. Vij demanded action from the government against Ambala DC Parth Gupta, who was the District Election Officer at the time of the elections, but the government did not take any action even after 100 days.
Ambala DC removed, Hafed manager chargesheeted
When Anil Vij refused to go to the Grievances Committee, the government suddenly removed Ambala DC Parth Gupta. However, Gupta was removed from Ambala and posted as DC in Yamunanagar. It is believed that Vij’s displeasure remains because of giving the DC’s chair to an officer again. Apart from this, about 2 months after his order in Sirsa, DC Shantanu issued orders to chargesheet Hafed manager Mukesh Kumar.
The party removed Ambala treasurer
The party had removed the BJP leader Ashish Tayal, whose photo Anil Vij had released and called a traitor, from the post of treasurer of Ambala district BJP. Its letter came out on 4 February after a 2-hour meeting of the party’s state in-charge Satish Poonia with Vij. However, the date of 30 January was written on it.
