Disclosure in the case of the half-burnt body found in Chandigarh: The young man was strangulated to death; burnt cloth found stuck on the neck

Date:

A big revelation has been made in the postmortem report of the half-burnt body found in the forest of village Maloya in Chandigarh. The board of doctors found in the investigation that the young man was strangled to death. However, the body has not been identified yet. After the postmortem report, the police have now registered a murder case against unknown persons and started investigation.

Let us tell you that the police was earlier considering this case as an accident, but the CFSL team that reached the spot had suspected murder after the postmortem report came. Dr. Dhirendra Singh Yadav of the team said that a cloth was stuck on the neck of the deceased, which was burnt by fire. This indicates that an attempt was made to burn the body after the murder.

Body burnt after murder

After seeing the body, experts said that the fire was only in the front part, while the back did not come under the grip of fire. This means that an attempt was made to burn the body so that it could not be identified. The age of the deceased is said to be between 25 and 30 years and he was murdered two to three days ago.

Dogs had eaten parts of the body

On February 13, a biker saw a half-burnt body lying in the forest near Jeeri Mandi and immediately informed the police. When the police reached the spot, some parts of the body had been torn by stray dogs. The entire flesh of one leg of the deceased was missing, while the face was also burnt, making it difficult to identify him. No documents were found near the body.

Help is also being taken from Mohali Police

The place where the body was found is very close to the border area of Mohali and Chandigarh. The police suspect that the murder was committed somewhere else and the body was thrown here, so that the investigation could be diverted. Chandigarh Police has also contacted Mohali Police and is collecting information about the missing people, so that the body can be identified.

Identification is the biggest challenge

The police say that first it is necessary to identify the deceased, only then the reason behind the murder and the accused can be reached. For this, missing reports are being investigated in all the nearby police stations. Also, the body has been sent for DNA test so that it can be identified.
