Late night in Sector-37 of Chandigarh, masked accused poured petrol on a bike parked outside a house and set it on fire. As soon as the fire started, flames rose, due to which the people around got scared and came out of their houses.
People immediately informed the police and fire department about this. The fire department team reached the spot and controlled the fire, but by then the bike was completely burnt. This entire incident was captured in the CCTV camera installed there. At the same time, the police has started searching for the accused in the case.
The face was covered with a cloth
Police station 39 has taken possession of the CCTV footage related to the incident, in which it is clearly visible that the accused may be someone known. Because they had covered their faces with a cloth, so that they could not be identified. Nevertheless, the police has started questioning the people around to identify the accused.
Police is investigating dump data
Police is also investigating the dump data of the crime scene, so that it can be known how many mobile phones were active there at the time of the incident and with whom they were in contact. Police says that the accused will be arrested soon.
