At the same time, drug smuggling campaigns will now start at the district level. Deputy Commissioners have been asked to turn the war against drugs into a mass movement. However, the meeting is still going on.

Earlier on Thursday, a high power committee of five ministers was formed by the government to monitor the ongoing action against drug smugglers. Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema has been made the chairman of this committee. While four other ministers have been made members of the committee.

Bulldozer runs on the houses of three female drug smugglers
The government is taking bulldozer action against drug smugglers on the lines of UP. On February 27, the two-storey house of a female drug smuggler named Rinki was demolished in Patiala. After this, action was taken against a female drug smuggler named Asha in Rupnagar and also against a drug smuggler in Ludhiana.

While on February 25, bulldozer action was taken in Punjab by demolishing the house of a drug smuggler in Himmatnagar, Ludhiana. The government hopes that this action will instill fear in smugglers. They will also refrain from such actions. At the same time, the image of the government will improve among the people.
