Even after 4 days of the death of Chandigarh Police’s female constable Sapna, Panchkula police has not been able to solve the case. Sapna’s murder is blamed on her husband Parvinder.
Parvinder is posted as a soldier in the army. However, the police is claiming that they have come very close to the accused and soon the case will be solved as to how Sapna died.
According to sources, in the CCTV footage received by the police from Naya village, Parvinder is seen leaving Naya village Shivalik Vihar at around 5:18 am on Monday morning in the same car in which Sapna’s body was found. About an hour and a quarter later, he is seen returning to Shivalik Vihar on foot at 6:34 am. Sapna and Parvinder’s house is in Naya village itself.
Sapna’s body was found in a car last Monday
It is worth noting that constable Sapna’s body was found in a car in Panchkula’s MDC last Monday night. After the body was found, Sapna’s brother Gaurav had lodged a complaint with Panchkula police against Sapna’s husband Parvinder and alleged that Sapna was murdered by her husband.
Brother accused brother-in-law of harassing her
Sapna’s brother Gaurav had also accused Parvinder of harassing Sapna. MDC police station SHO Rahul Kumar has said that the police is very close to the accused and the case will be solved soon.
