A delegation of 72 teachers from government schools of Punjab has left for Finland for training today (on March 15). CM Bhagwant Mann himself met the teachers and wished them a good future. Two ministers of Tamil Nadu will come to Punjab on the delimitation issue
The delimitation process for Lok Sabha seats will start from 2026. In such a situation, there is a possibility of an increase of about 78 seats in the 2029 Lok Sabha elections. The number of drones coming has reduced by 70 percent

One week training took place in Punjab
This is the second batch of Punjab government, which has been sent for training. Under this program, the government has signed an agreement (MoU) with Turku University. Under which one week training of teachers has taken place in Punjab. Whereas now two weeks of training will be held in Finland. The government is developing 132 schools in the state as “School of Happiness”. The “School of Happiness” project has started from Sri Anandpur Sahib.
Teachers under 43 years of age for training
The teachers who are being sent for training by the government are still a long way from retirement. The government had fixed the maximum age of teachers to join the training as 43 years. The government had clearly stated that their age should be 43 years or less by 31 January 2025. The maximum age for HT, CHT and BPEO posts has been fixed at 48 years.
Applicants must have a valid Indian passport till September 2025. There should not be any case or investigation against them. Teachers of government schools in Punjab, which is under the Aam Aadmi Party government, have been given training from many renowned places including Singapore, IIM Ahmedabad.
