A 12th standard student who had gone to the market in Sector 25, Chandigarh, was beaten up by boys of the locality with sticks and other weapons and injured. The people around intervened and rescued the 12th standard student Abhishek. Meanwhile, the attackers fled from there.
After this, the injured was admitted to Sector 16 hospital for treatment. On receiving the information, Sector 24 police station reached the spot and after recording the statement of the injured Abhishek, registered an FIR against the attackers. The victim Abhishek has suffered severe injuries in his arm and serious injuries in his body.
All the accused are absconding
The police have registered an FIR in the case, but till now not a single accused has been arrested by the police. The police claim that raids are being conducted in search of the accused. All the accused who assaulted the victim are residents of Sector 25.
One life was lost on Holi
