Fighter pilot Siddharth Yadav, who was martyred in a crash while flying the Air Force fighter jet Jaguar in Jamnagar, Gujarat on Wednesday night, was a resident of Bhalkhi-Majra in Rewari.
It was told that he was engaged on March 23 and joined duty on March 31 after the end of the leave period. After the engagement, Siddharth’s family was preparing for the wedding to be held on November 2, when the family got the news of this unfortunate incident on Thursday morning.
At the same time, after getting the news of the sacrifice of their beloved son, the parents and family members were shocked. No stove was lit in any house in the village in the afternoon. The mortal remains of the immortal martyr will be brought to the village late at night in an Air Force vehicle. After the information, relatives have started reaching the martyr’s house to console the family.
Siddharth fought till his last breath
Sachin Yadav, the maternal uncle’s son of martyr Siddharth Yadav, has told that on the night of April 2, Flight Lieutenant Siddharth had left with the Jaguar aircraft for regular training. There was another companion with him. During this time, some technical fault occurred in the Jaguar.
After this, all efforts were made to land it properly, but a time came when it was known that the plane was sure to crash. After this, without caring for his life, Siddharth got his companion ejected and started efforts to ensure that the plane does not fall in a densely populated area. He took the plane to an empty place and attained martyrdom. Everyone is proud of his bravery.
Four generations of the family in the army
Sachin Yadav has told that Siddharth’s great grandfather was working in Bengal Engineers, which came under the Britishers. Siddharth’s grandfather was in the Para Military Force. After this, his father also served in the Air Force. Currently he is working in LIC. This was the fourth generation which was serving in the army. Siddharth passed the NDA exam in 2017.
After this, after taking three years of training, he joined the Air Force as a fighter pilot. He got promotion after two years, due to which he became a Flight Lieutenant. There was a queue of people coming to the house to offer condolences. Siddharth was engaged on 23rd March. After this, the entire family was waiting for Siddharth’s marriage. His marriage was fixed for 2nd November, but in the early hours of 2nd April, the news of the unfortunate incident came and the entire Rewari, including the family, was drowned in grief.
Siddharth’s father has built a house in Sector-18 of Rewari. Siddharth’s engagement took place in this house itself. Now the body will be brought here. The family originally belongs to Bhalkhi-Majra. They have been living in Rewari for a long time. Before the son’s marriage, they built a house in Sector-18. The son’s marriage was to take place in this house. But now there is a queue of people coming to the house to offer condolences. Siddharth was the eldest son; he has a younger sister.
