After the increase of Rs 50 in the price of domestic LPG cylinder, Congress has slammed the Modi government at the center. Chandigarh Pradesh Congress Committee President Lucky said that this increase is a direct attack on the common man and the kitchens of poor, labourers and middle class families have once again come under crisis.
Lucky said that this price hike is “cruel and insensitive”. People across the country are already troubled by inflation, unemployment and economic pressure, at such a time it is very shameful to increase the price of LPG. He demanded from the Center that the prices of LPG should be withdrawn immediately and subsidy should be resumed for poor and lower middle class families.
The Congress Party will take to the streets for the rights of the common citizen and protest against this anti-people policy of the Central Government.
Made a means of tax collection
Lucky said, “The Modi government has made domestic needs a means of tax collection. This government is exploiting the resources of the people instead of giving them relief. The Congress Party will raise this issue from the streets to the Parliament.”
