Rohtak. Leopard has entered the IMT campus. After the information of leopard’s entry, there was panic among the employees. Leopard has been captured in CCTV camera near Maruti company campus located in IMT. It is suspected that the leopard entered the campus late Thursday night by jumping over the 8 feet wall. Since then, there is an atmosphere of panic among the employees and officers living in the campus.
Two-day holiday declared in the plant
In view of this, the company management has declared a two-day holiday in the plant. Police and wildlife department teams are engaged in rescuing the leopard. It is not yet known whether the leopard has gone out of the campus or is still inside. CCTV footage revealed that on May 1 at 8 pm, the leopard entered from a tree adjacent to the eight feet wall.

On May 2, investigation of CCTV footage in the early hours revealed the presence of a leopard in the campus. After this, the employees informed the management. Then the management informed the concerned police station and forest officials.
However, when the IMT police station in-charge reached the spot, he had to take permission to go inside, which took about 15 minutes. Now the forest department team is trying to rescue the leopard in the campus.
Maruti also has a research and development center, which is spread over 600 acres. This center has vehicle testing and evaluation laboratories and a 31-kilometer test track. Maruti already has 700 acres of land in Rohtak, out of which 100 acres of land is not being used.
Search is being done with the help of villagers
SI Charan Singh of the Wildlife Department said that a footage of a leopard has been found in the Maruti company, after which the team has gone to the village. The team of Police Station Sadar has also reached the spot. The leopard is being searched with the help of the villagers.
