Hisar. Police on Friday presented accused HAU clerk Udesh in court in the case of death of 25-year-old Dr. Bhavana of Anantpura village of Kotputli-Baharod, Rajasthan. From where he has been taken on three-day remand. Udesh will be questioned during remand. However, police say that Udesh has confessed to burning Dr. Bhavana to death. During remand, other accused related to Udesh in this case will also be traced. After the incident, when Bhavana screamed, Udesh got her admitted to Soni Hospital in Hisar. During this time, he also called a neighboring youth for help. Police investigation revealed that Udesh killed Bhavana because she was pressurizing him to divorce his wife.
Udesh’s wife said- she used to ask to talk to him
In this case, Udesh’s mother Munesh and wife Nikki, who live in Rewari’s village Lilodh, told that Dr. Bhavna was Udesh’s maternal uncle’s sister-in-law. Both of them had also got engaged once. Bhavna wanted to marry Udesh. Udesh’s mother had also given Bhavna 15 days to convince her mother, but when there was no response in 15 days, Udesh was later married to Nikki.
A few days after this, Dr. Bhavna was sent abroad by her mother Gayatri to study MBBS. Bhavna had been talking about marrying Udesh for a long time.
It was alleged that Bhavna’s mother did not allow her to get married because Udesh was a clerk. He told that on the day of the incident, Udesh himself had called his wife and told her that Bhavna jumped over the wall with a bottle of petrol and entered Udesh’s quarter and set it on fire.
Udesh got married in December
Udesh got married in 2021. His wife Nikki said that she and Udesh got engaged in March 2021 and then got married in December. According to Nikki, Udesh had told her about Bhavna.
Nikki says that Bhavna used to ask her to play Udesh’s voice on the phone. He had said that he was in depression. She had said that if he would talk to her only as a friend, she would stop talking as soon as she got well. Udesh had blocked Bhavna. Bhavna asked him to let her hear Udesh’s voice once and also asked for a video of him being at home, he sent the video, but refused to give the audio.
