13-year-old talented student from Chandigarh, Mayra Khattar, has brought laurels to the city by securing the overall first position in the Under-17 Talent Competition organised by IIT Mumbai. Mayra stunned everyone by speaking fluently in 12 foreign accents, showcasing her amazing linguistic talent.
Mayra’s multilingual ability set her apart from all the other participants in this prestigious competition of IIT Mumbai. The judges described her performance as ‘extraordinary and inspiring’.
Mayra is exceptional not only in languages, but in many fields. She is one of the youngest researchers in India, a published author and also a national level yoga champion. Recognising her versatility, Microsoft has also formally honoured her.
Myra’s confidence became her strength
On this achievement, Myra said, “I always believe in myself and the higher power that guides me. Every day is a new experience for me – full of effort, growth and gratitude.”
This achievement of Myra is a matter of pride not only for Chandigarh but for the entire country. Her parents, school and trainers also expressed happiness over this and said that Myra wanted to do something different since childhood and has a passion to learn something new every day.
