A BJP delegation met Punjab Governor Gulab Chand Kataria in Chandigarh today (Monday) in connection with the death of 27 people due to consumption of poisonous liquor in Majitha, Amritsar. The delegation was led by President Sunil Jakhar. On this occasion, he said that a murder case should be registered against the people involved in this case because these are not deaths but murders.
He said that the area of investigation of the Delhi liquor scandal should be expanded so that the whole truth comes out. The people who have been caught in this case so far are small fishes. The big crocodiles are still out of reach. At the same time, Punjab Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema said that politics should be done in this case.

Property of liquor smugglers should be confiscated
Jakhar said that in Punjab the liquor is old, the bottles are old and the sellers are old. He alleged that the real culprits in this case are from Delhi. CM Bhagwant Mann is not at fault in this. He cannot wash away his sins by giving ten lakh rupees to the families of the deceased in the liquor scandal. The property of the accused should be confiscated.
