The government has decided to hold a PTM (parent-teacher meeting) before the summer vacation in Punjab schools on July 2. This meeting will be held in all primary, middle, high and senior secondary schools on May 31.

It is mandatory for all parents to attend this meeting and the principal will be responsible for it. Three points have been decided for this meeting, which will be discussed.

The focus of the PTM will be on these three points:

Work to be given during holidays

All parents will be informed about the work to be given to their children during the holidays. Also, they will be motivated to complete the work given during the holidays.

Monthly tests

Parents will be informed about the monthly tests to be held after the holidays. These tests will start from July 15, and parents will be informed about its syllabus.

Mission Samarth

Under Mission Samarth, information will also be given about the video lectures and practice questions to be sent during summer vacations for students of classes III to VIII, so that the training of the students can continue.

Results expected to improve

There are a total of 18 thousand government schools in Punjab, in which more than 30 lakh students are receiving education. At the same time, the same number of children are studying in private schools. The government is trying to raise the level of government schools.
