A new case of corona infection has been reported in Chandigarh. The corona report of a 40-year-old man who came from Punjab has come positive. The infected person was admitted to the emergency of Chandigarh GMCH-32 hospital 3 days ago due to difficulty in breathing. GMCH-32 Director Dr. Atre said that the patient has been quarantined and all necessary steps have been taken in the hospital under the safety protocol. Dr. Atre also said that a special isolation unit of 10 beds has been prepared to deal with possible cases of corona in the future. Earlier on May 23, corona was confirmed in a 51-year-old woman from Yamunanagar, Haryana. She had gone to Punjab to attend a religious ceremony, after which she was tested when her health deteriorated.
