The Punjab government made a major administrative reshuffle late on Tuesday night. The government has transferred a total of 20 officers including 6 IAS officers with immediate effect. These officers include 11 PCS and 3 IFS. IAS Bhavna Garg has been appointed Principal Secretary Jail. At the same time, IAS Navjot Kaur has been given the additional responsibility of Additional Secretary Personnel Department and Director of Excise Department.
Similarly, IAS Mohammad Tayyab has been appointed Managing Director of Punjab Infrastructure Development Board. IAS Monish Kumar has been assigned the post of Special Secretary Technical Education and Industrial Training.
IAS Mohammad Tayyab has been given the additional charge of Managing Director Punjab Infrastructure Development Board. Similarly, Monish Kumar has been given the additional charge of Special Secretary of Technical Education and Industrial Training Department, IFS Manish Kumar Special Secretary Science, Technology and Environment Department, PCS Sanjeev Sharma Joint Secretary Higher Education and Language, PCS Gurinder Singh Sodhi Secretary Punjab School Education Board. PCS Rajdeep Kaur has been relieved from the charge of Staff Officer Deputy Commissioner Ferozepur. Similarly, PCS Manjit Singh Cheema has been given the charge of Secretary Regional Transport Officer Patiala and PCS Naman Marken has been given the charge of Regional Transport Officer Sangrur.
