16 cases of corona have been reported in Haryana, while the first death due to COVID-19 infection has occurred in Chandigarh (Chandigarh COVID Death). A 40-year-old man from Ludhiana who was having trouble breathing died in GMCH-32. He was isolated after his COVID test came positive but could not be saved due to serious symptoms.
16 cases of corona have been reported in Haryana till Tuesday night. On the other hand, the first death due to COVID-19 infection has been reported in Chandigarh.
A 40-year-old man from Ludhiana, admitted to the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH-32) located in Sector-32, died.
The patient was admitted to the emergency of the hospital four days ago due to difficulty in breathing. Doctors conducted a COVID test when his condition did not improve, the report of which came positive on Tuesday. He died a day later on Wednesday.
GMCH-32 Director Dr. AK Atre confirmed that the infected patient was immediately isolated and treatment was started, but due to severe symptoms he could not be saved.
In view of the increasing cases of corona, the health department in Haryana has become alert. Instructions have been issued to make flu corners in every hospital as well as to keep isolation beds, oxygen and medicines available.
