Mock drill held at 5 places in Gurugram
The Gurugram district administration on Saturday conducted the second civil defence exercise under “Operation Shield”. The aim was to assess preparedness for emergency situations and make citizens aware of safety measures.
The exercise was held at five major locations in the district, with the exercise starting with sounding sirens. Relief teams rescued stranded citizens and took them to health centres for first aid. Fire brigade, civil defence, Red Cross and Aapda Mitras participated in the exercise.
