Chandigarh MP Manish Tiwari, who reached Ethiopia’s capital Addis Ababa with an all-party Indian delegation, while addressing the media, called Pakistan cowardly. He appealed to the Indians present there to tell everyone about Pakistan’s misdeeds,
so that everyone knows about their cowardly act, how Pakistan attacks common people secretly and deceitfully and how the Indian Army has responded to that attack. He said that Chandigarh is a city of ex-servicemen, where every citizen is filled with the spirit of patriotism and dedication. In such a situation, a strong message should go to the whole world from Chandigarh.
Support is being gathered on international forums
Manish Tiwari is currently part of the all-party Indian delegation that went to Ethiopia under the leadership of Supriya Sule of the Nationalist Congress Party (Sharad Pawar faction). This visit is a part of India’s strategic diplomacy, under which support is being gathered on international forums against the terrorism being spread by Pakistan.
MP Tiwari said that when it comes to India’s self-respect, we have to forget all party differences and unite. He said that till now India has shown restraint, but if Pakistan does not stop spreading terrorism, the next response will be aggressive.
He appealed to the Indians that at their own level, wherever they are in the world, they must make the people there aware of Pakistan’s misdeeds, so that the international community can recognize this truth.
Apart from MP Manish Tiwari, this delegation also includes BJP’s Rajiv Pratap Rudy, Anurag Thakur, V. Muralidharan, Congress leader Anand Sharma, Telugu Desam Party’s Lavu Srikrishna Devaraylu, Aam Aadmi Party’s Vikramjit Singh Sahni and former diplomat Syed Akbaruddin.
