Corona cases are increasing continuously in Haryana. So far 72 cases have been reported in the state, out of which 47 are active patients. All are home isolated. 25 people have recovered.
2 new cases have been reported in Jhajjar on Tuesday. The woman and her 2-year-old daughter have been found positive. The woman’s husband works in Gurugram. In Sonipat, the wife of a railway employee has been found positive. The woman has no travel history. She had gone to a hospital in Delhi for a general checkup with her husband.
The highest number of cases are in Gurugram and Faridabad. So far 28 cases have been reported in Gurugram, out of which 16 are active. Similarly, 21 cases have been reported in Faridabad, out of which 10 are active.
The Health Department has not yet started testing on its own in Haryana. Rapid antigen test and RTPC test are being done for suspected patients.
All patients home isolated in Gurugram
Gurugram Deputy CMO Dr. JP Rajliwal said that the condition of all the patients found in the district is stable. They have been kept in home isolation as per the guidelines of the Health Department. The Health Department has started tracing the people who came in contact with these patients, so that the possible spread of the virus can be prevented. Rapid antigen test and RTPCR test are being done for suspected patients in the district.
Omicron variant confirmed in all cases of Faridabad
The presence of Omicron variant has been found in all the cases in Faridabad so far. The Health Department has made it clear that JN-1 or any other new variant has not been confirmed at present.
Deputy CMO Dr. Rambhagat has appealed to the people of the district to be cautious about prevention from Corona. Go out of the house only for essential work, wear a mask in public places and wash hands regularly. Avoid crowds and maintain cleanliness around you. If anyone feels symptoms like cold, cough or fever, get tested immediately and maintain distance from others.
9 cases of corona in Punjab
Talking about Punjab, 9 cases of corona have been reported. Of these, 3 are from Ludhiana alone. One person has also died. He was admitted to Chandigarh PGI after having trouble breathing. He died there. No guidelines have been issued by the government in Punjab yet.
Corona patients are continuously increasing in Haryana. If the corona virus spreads more, then US President Donald Trump’s decision to stop international aid may prove to be costly for Haryana.
