On May 27, his Covid report came positive and he died the next morning. This was the first death reported in the current Covid wave in a hospital in Chandigarh. However, the administration has considered it a case of Punjab.
Advice to the elderly and those with weak immunity to be cautious
PGI doctors said that most of the cases are with mild symptoms, but the elderly and those with weak immunity should take special precautions. All hospitals and medical institutions are fully prepared, but the cooperation and vigilance of the public is very important.
The Health Department has appealed to the people to wear masks in crowded places, take care of cleanliness and get tested immediately if symptoms are felt. At present, Corona cases are less and under control, but due to carelessness the situation can change.
