Leader of Opposition and MP Rahul Gandhi has come to Haryana. Here, he was welcomed by former Chief Minister Bhupendra Singh Hooda at the office of Haryana Congress Committee. He is scheduled to return by 2.30 pm.
During this time, as a senior Congress leader, he will meet the party leaders of Haryana and teach them the lesson of unity by taking them out of factionalism. He will give necessary guidelines for building an organization. During the meetings to be held in two phases, Rahul Gandhi will meet only 115 leaders.
Meeting will be held with 17 leaders
The first round of meeting will be held with 17 prominent leaders of the state, while in the second round of meeting, the modalities of building an organization will be discussed with the central and state observers. Congress has decided that most of the district presidents of Congress in Haryana will be around 50 years of age.
If any leader older than this age claims for the post of district president, then his name will be considered at Rahul Gandhi’s level only.
Homework on districts of central and state observers completed
Rahul Gandhi will hold talks on the organisation format with 21 central observers and 77 state level observers on Wednesday. Eight co-observers are included in the state level observers. Most of these observers are from Hooda faction. Three state level observers will be appointed along with one central observer.
Which district will be given to which central observer and state observer, was discussed between the state president and state in-charge on Tuesday. This format of discussion will be put up in Rahul Gandhi’s meeting, after which it will be decided which central observer will go to which district to prepare the organisation.
