To deal with Corona (Covid-19) and Swine Flu (AH1N1) in Haryana, the state government has extended the restrictions till March 31.
Using the powers conferred under Sections 2,1,3 and 4 of the Epidemic Diseases Act 1897, Governor Bandaru Dattatreya has extended the Haryana Epidemic Diseases Influenza A H1N1 Regulation-2020 and COVID-19 Regulation-2020 till March 31 next year in the order issued on March 3, 2024.
Additional Chief Secretary of Health Department Sudhir Rajpal has issued an order in this regard. This step has been taken to protect public health during the epidemic, prevent the spread of the disease and ensure effective treatment of infected persons.
The travel history of all corona patients coming from outside will be investigated. So far, corona patients have been found in 16 districts in the state. On Tuesday also, 27 patients were found in four districts.
Of these, 12 new infected were found in Faridabad, six each in Gurugram and Karnal, and three in Panchkula. A total of 384 infected have been found in the state so far, out of which 269 have been cured.
