The National Investigation Agency (NIA) carried out coordinated raids at 6 to 7 locations across Punjab early this morning. One of the major search operations was conducted in the posh Friends Colony of Jalandhar, where NIA teams arrived at around 7:00 AM, accompanied by local district police.
The raid focused on a rented residence where an individual had been living for quite some time. The man is currently being questioned by officials. While the exact reason behind the raids has not yet been disclosed by any official, preliminary digital evidence and documents have reportedly been recovered.
