This morning a person committed suicide by jumping from the 5th floor. The deceased has been identified as Baljinder Singh (age 45) resident of Verka. It is being told that Baljinder Singh was the father of 2 children and worked in a factory.
Police officers reached the spot to take action in this matter and investigation was started. On this occasion, police officer ADCP Harpal Singh said that a person died after falling from the upper floor of Guru Nanak Dev Hospital. Several days ago this person had an accident, due to which he suffered injuries in his hand and brain and he came to the hospital for treatment. However, the doctors had discharged him and he was to undergo surgery today.
The deceased had just reached the hospital with his family members when suddenly he jumped from the 5th floor of the hospital and died on the spot. The police reached the spot and started investigation. The body has been sent for post-mortem.
