In various police stations under District Police Gurdaspur, police arrested 6 accused including 2 women and recovered 260 grams of heroin and Rs. 1000 drug money from them.
In this regard, SSP Aditya told that Sub Inspector Mohan Lal posted at Dinanagar Police station, along with the police party, set up a blockade at Sugar Mill Paniyad and stopped a car number DL-2 CAA-2924 on suspicion and questioned 4 people including 2 women in the car, then the accused identified themselves as Jakar son Sadiq, Razia wife Jakar resident of village Pandori district Amritsar, Sadam Hussain son Noordin and Jilo wife Sadam Hussain resident of village Badowal. On the basis of suspicion, the accused were taken out of the car and the car was searched, when the bag kept under the driver’s seat of the car was checked, 260 grams of heroin was recovered from it, on which a case was registered against the accused and they were arrested.
