Amidst claims of strict security arrangements in the jail, mobile phones have once again reached the jail, breaching the arrangements. The recovery of mobiles from inside the jail from time to time also raises questions on the working system.
According to the information, 15 mobile phones have been recovered from inside the jail during checking. 7 mobile phones have been recovered from 6 prisoners, while 8 mobile phones have been recovered in an unclaimed condition. The Assistant Superintendent has informed the police about this, after which a case has been registered under the section of the Jail Act and investigation has been started.
