The weather is going to change once again in the northern districts of Punjab. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain along with lightning and strong winds at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour in Hoshiarpur, Gurdaspur and Pathankot districts.
The department has issued a warning saying that heavy rains may occur in Gurdaspur and Hoshiarpur districts on August 19, while there is also a possibility of rain in Amritsar, Kapurthala and Pathankot. Apart from this, the rain is expected to continue in Pathankot and Hoshiarpur districts on August 20 and 21, while light drizzle may occur in some other districts.
The Meteorological Department also said that heavy rains may occur again in Pathankot and Hoshiarpur on August 22. The Meteorological Department has advised people to be cautious, especially in those areas where problems like waterlogging and landslides may arise.
