Police have registered a case of fraud. According to reports, Sadar police station has taken action against a person who accepted 55 lakh rupees for a land deal but failed to register it. Based on the statement of Ashwini Mahant, a resident of Model Town Extension, the police have registered a case of fraud against Jagdish Singh, a resident of Pandori village.

In his statement to the police, Ashwini Mahant stated that he had negotiated with the accused regarding the land deal and had given him 55 lakh rupees on different dates. However, after receiving the money, the accused neither registered the land nor returned the money. By doing so, the accused has defrauded him. Police are taking action in the matter.
