Police from Adampur police station arrested a foreign woman with 500 grams of ice. SSP Harvinder Singh Virk said that the police party of Station House Officer Inspector Ravinderpal Singh, led by SP Parminder Singh Heer, SP Sarabjit Rai, DSP Inderjit Singh, arrested a foreign woman and recovered 500 grams of ice from her.
DSP Inderjit Singh said that ASI Paramjit Singh along with the police party was on patrol near DAV University on Daulatpur Main GT Road, when a woman was seen coming from the direction of the university with a black purse in her hand. Seeing the police party standing in front, she suddenly turned back in fear. The police became suspicious and arrested her and asked her name and address. The foreign woman told her name as Becky Gloria, resident of Akoda City, Africa. When her purse was searched, 500 grams of ice was found in a transparent envelope. A case was registered against the woman at the Adampur police station and she was arrested.
