Sangrur MLA Narinder Kaur Bharaj inaugurated the Bharat Nirman Rajiv Gandhi Seva Kendra, built at a cost of ₹2.4 million (2.4 million rupees) in Gharachon village, and a Panchayat Ghar, built at a cost of ₹4 million (4 million rupees) in Mangwal village, in her Sangrur constituency. Bharaj informed that development projects such as memorial gates, sports stadiums, and community halls are underway in various villages in the Sangrur constituency.
She informed that grants have been released to various villages for the construction of health centers and Panchayat Ghar, and these works will commence soon. The Punjab government led by Bhagwant Singh Mann is working extensively to strengthen health, education, and infrastructure development in the state. She stated that the state had lagged behind in development due to the ill-intentioned and wrong policies of previous governments. However, since the AAP came to power, all-round development has been prioritized.
He said that the villagers had been demanding these development works for a long time, which the Bhagwant Singh Mann-led government has now fulfilled. He said that the work that had not been completed in the last 75 years is now being done on a priority basis.
He said that every important work in the constituency is being completed on a priority basis. In the next one year, no work in the area will remain pending. He assured the residents of his presence in every way. He said that the provision of better infrastructure will further accelerate the pace of development in the entire Sangrur constituency. A large number of local residents were present on the occasion.
