BSF personnel recover drone, case filed against unknown person

Border Security Force (BSF) personnel, acting after observing drone activity in the BOP Barrier Barike area of ​​Ferozepur, recovered a gray-colored DJI Mavic-3 Classic drone. A case has been registered against an unknown individual at Police Station Sadar Ferozepur under the Aircraft Act.

Assistant Station House Officer (ASO) Sukhbir Singh of Police Station Sadar Ferozepur stated that on October 18, 2025, Inspector Sanjay Kumar, BOP Barrier Barike, reported that BSF personnel had observed drone movement in the area. Later, during a search near the Prakash Firing Range, the personnel recovered the drone. Police stated that the drone has been seized for investigation and efforts are underway to identify the unknown accused.
