The Punjab State Power Corporation has transferred 58 executives just before Diwali. The large-scale transfers of departmental officers across Punjab have left many executives happy with their preferred positions, while others are unhappy with the transfers.
According to information received, Executive Amrinder Singh Sandhu, posted in the Focal Point Division in Ludhiana, considered a hot seat for the Powercom department, has been given charge of the CMC Division of the Powercom department. Executive Sanjeev Kumar Jolly, who previously worked in the CSC Division, has been transferred to the Focal Point Division. Executive Sanjeev Kumar Jolly and Executive Amarinder Singh Sandhu have extensive work experience and can play a significant role in ensuring the best power supply for the area’s industries and domestic consumers.
In this context, senior officials of the Punjab State Powercom department have entrusted Executive Daljit Singh of the Agra Nagar Division with significant responsibility, appointing him as Executive in the Enforcement Wing of the Electricity Department. Executive Diljeet Singh is sharp and quick witted. It is believed that after his joining the enforcement wing, there will be major improvements in the department and the work of cracking down on power theft cases will also gain momentum, whereas Executive Rajesh Kumar Sharma posted in Amritsar has once again been posted in Ludhiana station and sent to Agra Nagar division. It is worth noting that before this, Rajesh Sharma has served as Executive in the City West division of the Power Works department and he has a lot of experience of working in Ludhiana. It is being said that right after Diwali, all the officers will take charge of their posts and will go to the field to serve the people.
