Those who display police logos or similar stickers on their private vehicles should beware. Traffic Police Zone Number 1 in-charge Deepak Kumar has initiated action against such vehicles. One such driver was issued a challan near the GT Road Budha Nullah. The Punjab Police logo on his vehicle’s windshield was also removed on the spot.
Deepak Kumar explained that some individuals who have no connection with the police use such stickers on their vehicles to deceive the police administration and mislead the public. However, action has been initiated against such individuals. If they do not improve, their vehicles could even be confiscated.
