The Indian women’s baseball team is all set to depart from Punjab for the Women’s Baseball Asia Cup 2025. We are pleased to announce that the Indian women’s baseball team’s training camp for the IV BFA Women’s Baseball Asia Cup 2025 was held from October 15 to 22, 2025, at Government Girls Senior Secondary Smart School, Gill, Ludhiana. This camp was organized by the Punjab Baseball Association under the guidance of the Indian Amateur Baseball Federation.

Reshma Shivaji Punekar was declared the captain and Manveer Kaur the vice-captain of the Indian women’s baseball team for the Asia Cup. The tournament will be held from October 26 to November 2, 2025, in Hangzhou, China. The top 10 teams from Asia will participate in this championship, their names are given below:

During the camp, the players’ dietary needs were taken care of by Gill Dairy and Gogi Di Chakki of Gill village. The successful conclusion of the camp was inaugurated by Engineer Harbir Singh Gill, Secretary of the Punjab Baseball Association, and Sukhdev Singh Aulakh, President of the Punjab Baseball Association. At the closing ceremony, the Secretary of the Punjab Baseball Association thanked Dr. Smriti Bhargav, Principal of Government Girls Senior Secondary Smart School, Gill, Sarpanch Kamaljit Singh of Gill village, Karanveer Singh Gill (Gogi Di Chakki), Manveer Singh Gill (Gill Dairy), and all the supporters of Gill village.
