Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann arrived in Tarn Taran to hold a meeting with officials and workers regarding the by-election in the Tarn Taran assembly constituency. Present on the occasion were Manish Sisodia, Cabinet Minister and State President Aman Arora, Cabinet Minister Harbhajan Singh ETO, Cabinet Minister Laljit Singh Bhullar, MLA Sherry Kalsi, and former MLA Dr. Navjot Kaur Sohal, wife of Kashmir Singh Sohal, among others. Earlier, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann paid his respects at Sri Darbar Sahib, Tarn Taran.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Mann said that Punjab is the land of the Gurus and has always been blessed by their grace. He said that today Punjab is facing many challenges such as corruption and drug abuse, but the situation is rapidly improving.
Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said that the destiny of Tarn Taran has to be changed. This by-election should not have happened, but it is being held after the death of former MLA Dr. Kashmir Singh Sohal. He said that it is everyone’s responsibility to abide by God’s will, and we have all gathered here to pay tribute to him.
Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann further said that the by-election for the Tarn Taran assembly constituency will be held on November 11. He said that various kinds of misinformation will be spread by the opposition parties, but you have to avoid this false propaganda. These people consider politics a game, but you have to make the right decision with your wisdom and use your vote wisely. He said that he stands for Punjab and a roadshow will be held on October 26.
