Punjab is set to experience another series of holidays, with schools, colleges, and offices remaining closed.
Children have thoroughly enjoyed the holidays during the festive season. October saw several holidays due to festivals, which were greatly appreciated by government employees and students alike. Now, Punjab is about to witness another string of holidays.
The month of November is just a few days away. This month will also bring several holidays. The Punjab government has declared a public holiday on Wednesday, November 5th, at the beginning of the month. November 5th marks the Prakash Utsav (birth anniversary) of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, and consequently, schools, colleges, and offices will remain closed on this day. Additionally, November 16th will be observed as the martyrdom day of Kartar Singh Sarabha, and November 25th as the martyrdom day of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, for which the government has also declared public holidays.
