Jalandhar: On October 27th, power supply will be disrupted in areas under various feeders in the city. Ishwar Nagar, Kala Sanghian, Dashmesh Nagar, and surrounding areas under the Dashmesh Nagar feeder will be affected from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Sher Singh Colony, Puli Ka Area, Maharaj Garden, and Nahlan Pind areas served by the Canal feeder will experience power outages from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The Paruthi Hospital feeder will be cut off from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Zirakpur: Power supply will be cut off in several areas of the region from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Monday. Powercom informed that Zirakpur-1, Singhpura, Sweetery Green, Adda Jhungian, Jaipuria, Akme, Azure, Green Lotus, and Orbit feeders connected to the Bhabat grid will remain closed during the power cut. In addition, Pind Lohgarh, Sigma City, Balaji Defence Enclave, Bhudda Road, VIP Road, Rampur Kalan, Chhat and Nabha Pind and nearby colonies and societies will also be affected.
Banga: Assistant Executive Engineer, Powercom Sub-Division Urban Banga, issued a press note stating that necessary repairs are being carried out on the 11 kV line. Consequently, power supply to feeder number 1 will be suspended from 10 am to 12 noon on Monday, October 27th (Monday). The affected areas are: Phagwara Road, Sotra Road, Civil Hospital, Railway Road, Gadshankar Road, City Police Station, Azad Chowk, Suniyara Bazaar, New Gandhi Nagar, and some other surrounding areas. He informed that the 11 kV line is under repair. Feeder No. 2 will be repaired on October 28th. Consequently, power supply to the feeder will be suspended on Tuesday, October 28th, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Affected areas include: Suvidha Center, SDM Office, Tungal Gate, Sagar Gate, Muktpura Mohalla, Kapura Mohalla, Valmiki Mohalla, Jhikka Road Jain Colony, Happowal Road, New Dana Mandi, Guru Ravidas Road, Sadar Police Station, New Model Colony, and NRI Colony. Colony, Phagwara Road, Mohalla Siddha, Dr. Ambedkar Nagar and some other surrounding areas. Nurpurbedi: Kulwinder Singh, Senior Assistant Engineer, Punjab State Powercom Limited, Sub-Office Takhtgarh, informed that on October 27 (Monday), the power supply to agricultural motors in Abiana, Nangal, Madhopur, Dahirpur, Batarla, Haripur, Phoolde, Khatana, Tibba Taprian, Khad Bathlaur, Rajgiri, and Neeli Rajgiri, falling under the Tibba Taprian feeder, will be cut off from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. However, domestic power supply to the above villages will continue as normal. Furthermore, domestic power supply to Khatana, Tibba Taprian, and some other villages will remain off. Due to ongoing work, the power outage time may vary. Therefore, consumers have been advised to make alternative arrangements.
