At the international Pushkar Cattle Fair in Ajmer district of Rajasthan, a premium horse stole the spotlight this year. The tall, black Marwari horse with its glossy black coat was a major attraction.
Shahbaz, who became the talk of the town due to his breed and beautiful physique, is reportedly priced at 15 crore rupees. His owner, Gurpratap Singh Padiala, said that he brings his horses to the Pushkar fair every year. This time he brought a total of 40 animals, of which Shahbaz is the most special. This horse has won 5 major shows so far. Last year, Shahbaz secured first place in 3 major competitions and second place in one in Punjab. Although Shahbaz has only been taken to a few shows, he has always returned with a trophy.
5.5 Feet Tall
Padiala said that Shahbaz is 66 inches tall (more than 5.5 feet) and 6 years old. A person is present 24 hours a day to take care of Shahbaz. He is also given a special diet costing 50,000 rupees. Shahbaz has won several national shows and is in high demand for breeding. This is why the breeding fee is 2 lakh rupees. He said that he currently has no intention of selling Shahbaz, but has set a minimum price of 15 crore rupees. He has already received offers up to 9 crore rupees. He will not consider selling Shahbaz until his offspring are strong and established.
