On the first day of the two-day camp organized by GMADA at the PUDA Bhawan in SAS Nagar to resolve pending cases of the general public, promoters, and developers, a total of 864 cases were settled. Giving information in this regard, Housing and Urban Development Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian said that the Punjab government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, is continuously striving for the welfare of every sector and class. Working in this direction, the Greater Mohali Area Development Authority has organized this two-day camp to resolve pending cases of the general public and other stakeholders such as developers, promoters, etc.
Hardeep Singh Mundian informed that the 864 cases settled during the camp included 618 cases of citizen services, 4 Letters of Intent, 2 promoter license renewals, 2 zoning plans, 3 project licenses/layout plots, 2 architectural controls, 8 estate agent certificates, 7 promoter licenses, 92 building plans, 11 demarcation certificates, 30 DPC cases, 84 completion certificates, and 1 conveyance deed case. The Cabinet Minister said that the process of services being provided by the Housing and Urban Development Department to the general public and colonizers, promoters, and developers has been simplified, which has expedited the delivery of services.
He said that the Punjab government aims to resolve work in various departments in a timely and corruption-free manner, and clear instructions have already been issued to all officers/employees in this regard. During the camp proceedings, Principal Secretary of the Housing and Urban Development Department, Vikas Garg, handed over building plans, layout plans, LOIs, estate agent and promoter registration certificates to the concerned individuals and companies, while GMADA Chief Administrator Sakshi Sahni instructed officials regarding the pending applications of people who came to the camp in various branches and ensured their on-the-spot resolution. Additional Chief Administrator Amritinder Singh Malhi, Estate Officer (Housing)-cum-Land Acquisition Collector Hardeep Singh, Estate Officer (Plots) Ravinder Singh and other officials were present at the camp.
