Raja Warring was scheduled to appear before the Punjab SC Commission today regarding a casteist statement he made against the late former Home Minister Buta Singh. However, Raja Warring himself will not appear; his lawyer will represent him before the commission. Now it remains to be seen what further action the SC Commission will take in this matter.

It is noteworthy that Raja Warring allegedly made a casteist remark about the late Home Minister Buta Singh during an election rally held during the Tarn Taran assembly by-election. Following this, the SC Commission issued him a notice to appear on November 6th. However, Raja Warring had already apologized and given his explanation in this entire matter. An FIR has also been registered against him at the Kapurthala police station in this case.
