Punjab Police has achieved a major success. According to reports, the Anti-Gangster Task Force Punjab has arrested an accused in a joint operation with the Batala police. The arrested accused is reportedly a member of the Jaggu Bhagwanpuria gang. The accused has been identified as Gurlove Singh alias Love Randhawa, a resident of Batala. Two pistols, three magazines, and 16 live cartridges were recovered from him. DGP Gaurav Yadav provided this information.
The DGP stated that preliminary investigations revealed that the accused was working under the instructions of a foreign handler, Amrit Dalam, and has a criminal record. An FIR has been registered at the Civil Lines police station in Batala under the Arms Act.
