AAP sweeps Tarn Taran by-election, wins with a huge lead.

Counting of votes for the recent by-election in the Tarn Taran Assembly constituency began at 8:00 am today. A large police force has been deployed at the counting center to prevent any untoward incidents. Counting has begun amid tight security. Trends will begin shortly. The counting process is being overseen by District Election Officer Mr. Rahul and Returning Officer Gurmeet Singh. The counting will be completed in 16 rounds. It is worth noting that 61 percent voter turnout was recorded on November 11th. Voters participated enthusiastically in this by-election, and all eyes are now on the results. A close contest is expected between the ruling and opposition parties. Voting took place in the Tarn Taran Assembly constituency on November 11th.

The AAP defeated its opponents, winning with a huge lead. The people of Tarn Taran voted for candidate Harmeet Singh Sandhu, handing him a landslide victory with a huge margin of 12,091 votes. Shiromani Akali Dal candidate Sukhwinder Kaur Randhawa came in second, followed by SAD candidate Mandeep Singh of Waris Punjab in third, Congress candidate Karanbir Singh Burj in fourth, and the BJP in fifth.

According to information, the total number of voters in Assembly Constituency 021-Tarn Taran is 192,838. These include 100,933 male voters, 91,897 female voters, and 8 third gender voters. In addition, there are 1,357 service voters, 1,657 voters over the age of 85, 306 NRI voters, and 1,488 disabled voters. The total number of voters between the ages of 18 and 19 is 3,333. A total of 15 candidates are contesting this by-election, including four from traditional parties, two from registered parties, and nine independent candidates.

It is noteworthy that this seat fell vacant after the death of Dr. Kashmir Singh, the Aam Aadmi Party MLA from Tarn Taran.
