The Field Ganj area of the city witnessed a massive traffic jam on Sunday afternoon. The congestion was so severe that an ambulance was stuck on the road for approximately 15 minutes. The ambulance was carrying a patient who needed to be immediately transported to the hospital. No traffic police personnel performed their duties during the jam. No traffic police personnel were seen at the scene, nor was any effort made to clear the traffic jam, preventing the ambulance from moving for a long time.
Local residents have demanded that the administration improve traffic management in busy areas to ensure that patients’ lives are not endangered in such emergency situations.
