A BSF soldier was injured, while his wife was uninjured.
A Road Safety Force ASI, Sarabjit Singh, stated that the car was being driven by Bajrang Sahay, posted with the Gurdaspur BSF battalion. He was traveling from Gurdaspur to Delhi. As they attempted to climb the Goraya Bridge, the car’s tire burst, and the car broke the iron railing on the highway, overturned, and fell off the bridge, severely damaging the car. The driver, Bajrang Sahay, was injured.
Humanity was also evident when the principal of Goraya’s Bhai Mati Das School of Nursing, along with his driver, was following the car. They immediately took the injured man into their vehicle and rushed him to the hospital. After the accident, Goraiya police also reached the spot and started further action.
