CBI books 8 in Rs 1.14‑crore patient welfare grant scam at PGI Chandigarh

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Thursday registered an FIR against eight people, including six PGIMER Chandigarh employees — one retired in 2020 — and a campus photocopy shop owner in a Rs 1.14‑crore patient welfare grant scam.
