A wave of shock swept through the Nakha Wale Bagh area in the city’s Basti Sheikh locality when the body of a 25-year-old man was recovered from an auto-rickshaw. Upon receiving the information, the family rushed to the scene; witnessing their son’s condition, the relatives were overcome with grief and wept inconsolably.
**Family Had Filed a Missing Person Complaint**
According to reports, the deceased was a resident of New Dashmesh Nagar and had been missing since the previous day. The family had even filed a missing person complaint with the police, but no leads were found. The sudden discovery of his body inside the auto-rickshaw today has created an atmosphere of panic in the locality. The deceased’s mother stated that her son had left home for work but never returned. He was her only son; he was married and also had a young child.
**Mother Collapses Upon Seeing Son’s Body**
According to the mother, when she received the news regarding the discovery of the auto-rickshaw, she immediately rushed to the spot, where she collapsed in shock upon seeing her son’s body. Meanwhile, the deceased’s sister revealed that her brother drove the auto-rickshaw on a rental basis. The family had grown anxious when he failed to return home by late evening. Suraj, the owner of the auto-rickshaw, stated that the young man had been driving the vehicle for the past week and would typically return home every evening. On the day he failed to return, they searched for the auto-rickshaw until late into the night but found no trace of it. The following day, a mechanic reported seeing the auto-rickshaw parked on the roadside. When Suraj arrived at the scene accompanied by the family, they discovered the young man’s body lying inside the vehicle. Currently, the police are actively investigating the matter and are working to ascertain the cause of death.
