A decline has been recorded in the prices of gold and silver. According to the Jalandhar Bullion Association, the price of 24-carat gold fell to ₹154,600 on Friday, down from ₹155,250 on Thursday. Similarly, 22-carat gold also dropped to ₹143,780, having previously stood at ₹144,380. Meanwhile, the price of silver has also decreased; today, silver reached ₹249,200, whereas its previous price was ₹251,800. On the MCX, 10 grams of gold fell by ₹446 (0.29%) to reach ₹151,315. Concurrently, silver slid by ₹713 (0.30%) to trade at ₹240,800 per kilogram. Both precious metals have also witnessed a decline in the international market.
