A major scam has been exposed in Transport Nagar, where employees trusted by a company turned out to be ‘snakes in the grass.’ When their theft of iron consignments was discovered, this gang launched a life-threatening attack on the very person who had filed the complaint.
**Accused Employees Were Stealing Goods to Sell to Scrap Dealers in Sahnewal**
According to reports, goods (specifically iron rods and sheets) belonging to the complainant Rinku’s company, ‘Shiva Logistics,’ arrive at Dhandari Railway Station. The employees were entrusted with the responsibility of loading these goods from the station and transporting them to the company’s warehouse. However, the accused employees were stealing the goods en route and selling them to scrap dealers in Sahnewal. The incident came to light on the morning of April 10, around 6:30 AM. The complainant, Rinku, observed that approximately 4 to 5 tons of the company’s iron rods had been loaded into a tempo. Instead of transporting the consignment to the warehouse, preparations were underway to sell it to Saurav and Goldy, scrap dealers based in Sahnewal. The moment Rinku confronted the accused and demanded the return of his stolen property, their true colors were revealed.
**Attempted Attack Using Sharp-Edged Weapons**
The accused attempted to attack Rinku using iron rods and other sharp-edged weapons. When an alarm was raised, the accused fled the scene while issuing death threats against him. Acting on the complainant’s report and following a thorough investigation, the police at the Focal Point Police Station have registered a case against the accused individuals: Saurav, Goldy, Vijay, Debu, Thakur, Lovely, Rajinder, Suhail, Pradhan, Kallu, Mohabbat Ali, Mobin, Pandit Gatte Wala, Saeed Ali, Chhotu, Tariq, Raju, and Munna. The police have stated that this criminal syndicate comprises not only the company’s employees but also the scrap dealers who were purchasing the stolen goods. The police are now tracing the location of the accused based on the tempo’s registration number and have asserted that the entire gang will soon be put behind bars.
